Oh Happy Day : )
It is so good to have Mom here with us. Lydia has spent most of here day in Mom's arms! I was able to get a nap and feel better after a sleepless night.
To deal with the jaundas issue, it was suggested we have Lydia nap in the most light possible. We set up a pack and play in our sunroom area. It worked and she levels came down enough that we don't have to take her to the Dr. again for a week !

We are enjoying getting to know each other. The trips to the Dr for her jaunts make it hard to rest. We go again this am to see if she's improved. My guess is she has, with lot's of poopie diapers last night!
Lydia loves to remove her pacier and hold it herself. Is this normal at this age ? We are pretty amazed at her strength.
1st trip

Our 1st trip was very fun!! We headed to the Dr and it just happened that we were early and that there was a Starbucks next door... anyone recognize the table : )
Thomas picked the craziest Dr for Lydia! He rides a Harley and is a total nut. We really like him.... he puts you at ease and seems very good. He came to our birthing class. This is a picture of him soothing Lydia in the Hospital by speaking a gibberish run on sentence in her ear. Amazingly, it worked !!
Then we headed to Debbie's, the mother of the triplets I have the pleasure of working with weekly! I have missed them since our schedule changed and I saw them much less the last weeks. I had a wonderful time : )

Home
Thomas changed the format and I'm not sure how to use it!! Too tired to figure it out, but I wanted to post a few more picutres of our 1st days home.Things have been going pretty well. Lydia continues to be an easy baby, sleeping all the time.
Our nights have been ok, but we look forward to the weeks ahead when you get to drop a feeding!!
Lydia is slightly jaundas ( sp... not sure.. too tired to care ) and we are working on getting rid of that. Hoping and praying it takes care of it's self and we can stay far away from dr's, hospitals ect...
Lydia enjoyed a visit from Grandma and Gradpa, along with Uncle James and Melanie ! They brought tons of food, which we shared with Chris and Kelly last night, while enjoying our new born babies ( Garrett came July 2nd ). Well enough for now. It's time to feed.
We will try to psot again soon.

Welcome Lydia !!

We are still at the hospital, but I wanted to take a few minutes to post a few pictures. Lydia was released from the NICU about 4pm today. She is sleeping soundly right next to me! This is a picture of her in her carseat... she had to sit in it for 90 minutes before she can leave. She passed the test with flying colors.

We have been blessed with texts, visitors, flowers, balloons, calls, food ect... It's been wonderful to hear from all of you and have you share in our joy with us. Lydia is content, strong and alert. One of her favortie things to do is hold Thomas' finger. It's so cute. She actually reaches to hold them! She has very long fingers and toes and my mouth, Thomas' nose and ears.
We are anxious to head home tomorrow and get settled into our new routine of eating, changing and sleeping ( hopefully us too )
I will continue to post updates and let you se pictures as she grows.

5 weeks and counting!

This one goes out to my sweet Mother who asked very nicely for a recent picture of my ever expanding belly! I'm not sure it can stretch any further, but I have a feeling it will exceed what I find HUGE to be ; )
Lydia has run out of room to move much, so the movement has changed from flutters and kicks to just plain pushing, mostly on the right side of my ribcage. She is head down and we are thankful for her cooperation! Good girl.
The weather has been nice and cool, with the highs in the mid 80's. I'm very pleased : )
