Fashion show

Lydia was a very cooperative fashion model this am : ) She allowed me to change her several times before getting annoyed! What a little doll :)

Love the hat ! The Rappaport ladies have excellent taste.

Auntie Anne and Afiya picked this adorable outfit for Lydia ( the main reason for the fashion show : )

Lydia's 1st pair of jeans !! They fall off now : ) Guess we will be waiting a few more weeks to see them again!

Airplane ride with Daddy

Thomas takes Liddy for airplane rides almost daily. He fly's her around the house explaining what everything is. She is looking at the Christmas tree in this one

Morgan and Hayden Hang out with Lydia this week

Last week Landon enjoyed playing with Lydia while the girls finished their breakfast. This week, Morgan went directly to Lydia : ) She wanted to hold the "baby".
Hayden didn't want to miss the fun. Lydia was in 7th heaven hanging with the big girls!

Morgan actually posed for this shot! So funny..... then she insisted on seeing it. Technology is amazing!
Lydia and I always enjoy seeing the triplets : ) I have been hanging out with them almost weekly since they were about 6 months old.

We will see what the Dr. says Tuesday when we visit for her 4 month shots ect...

Lydia and Landon

Landon is such a sweet boy : ) He was the 1st done with his breakfast the other am, and went to keep Lydia company!!! She loves our weekly visits with the triplets. They love her too

Learning to roll

Lydia rolled from her tummy to her back twice this am : ) It was very fun for us !! Thomas started teaching her to roll a few days ago and we are amazed how much the exercise helped her. She is also working really hard to sit ( she wants to, but of course is no where near strong enough yet ) . She is grabbing for things, including my hair : ) and chatting a ton.
Progress is fun. She is happy and all the issues with reflux, colic ect.. are gone.
Praise God for the good times.

Pretty in Pink

Lydia is starting to sit pretty well propped up against something.
Mom went a little camera happy, trying to get a smile!

too bad it's blurry : (

Tummy Time

Halloween

Lydia's 1st Halloween annoyed her! But I promised the neighbor kids she was going to be a Ladybug.....plus Daddy missed the show during playgroup, so he needed to see his Liddy Bug : )

Here is the playgroup bunch all dressed up for the occasion. So cute !!

Hanging out with Sarah : )

Sarah loves Lydia and Lydia is fascinated with Sarah! Sarah was telling Lydia all about horses the other day and how when she gets to be 5 ( like Sarah ) then she can have horse posters on her wall too. So funny to listen to her and watch Lydia studying her antics!

Story Time with Daddy : )

A few 3 month shots of Lydia

Lydia is learning to sleep in her bed during the day. She is an excellent sleeper at night, but is use to sleeping in her carseat, a swing, just about anywhere she will sleep. This week we are working hard ( with lots of 2nd guessing and tears ) to get her to take good naps. She is getting better and she is happier when she wakes up. Above she couldn't keep her eyes open for the full hour, so she took her nap on her changing pad!

Lydia and Emmit ready for a ride.

Lydia and I met our friends Lili and Paul of a caramel latte over the weekend. Thomas was working and missed the fun. Lydia enjoyed the snuggles almost as much as Lili and Paul!

Napping in the pack-n-play while we spend the morning with Landon, Morgan and Hayden is getting better! They are wondering why I don't rescue Lydia!
After 3 days, she is now calming herself in about 5 minutes and wakes happy and cooing!!

The triplets are 18 months and we love to hang out with them! They love her and one of their 1st words was baby : )

Almost 3 months

Lydia was wide eyed most of the afternoon today, after sleeping a lot while Ken and Melva were here. She doesn't look like a newborn anymore, although we still get stopped every 5 seconds when we are out and people comment on how tiny she is. She has matured so much lately.

Auntie Melva and Uncle Kenny come to visit

Lydia can finally fit into her 0-3 month shoes ! So cute
( I do have to add a side note.... this all went in backwards! I'm too tired to fix it though. Sorry it reads a little funny )

Lydia loved all the attention from Auntie Melva and Uncle Kenny.

I think they came across the country just to kiss on Lydia! She loved it. We spent our time shopping and eating, of course. We had a wonderful time. The weather was perfect for our visit to Bull Run. Lydia enjoyed the warm breeze, while the rest of us read about the civil war battle.
We enjoyed our visit very much! Thanks for coming to visit.

Daddy came home to an awesome surprise!

Reflux wedge

We were blessed last week by a friend who's daughter also had reflux. She gave us this great incline wedge for Lydia to sleep on. She is strapped in so she can't slide down. It works great and Lydia doesn't mind it at all. Keeping them upright is the 1st rule for reflux. She is almost sleeping
through the night! Colic is still effecting our days : ( We will all be glad when the colic is gone!

The picture above was taken this afternoon. It captures something that reminds both Kristy and I of our Grandma Glo, who passed away . It's fun to see Grandma in Lydia.
