Things are going well. I see the Dr. every two weeks now.
I'm starting to have the normal backache ect..
otherwise I feel good.

Baseball game

I arrived in Seattle very late on Thursday. Jenn came to get me at the airport and we stayed up way to late chatting.
Mom and Kristy came into town the next afternoon.
We enjoyed a lazy afternoon lunch before heading to Jack's baseball game. Mt Rainier was a spectacular sight, just like I hoped !! The weather was perfect all week : )

Next, we had lunch with our long time friend from Jr. high, Bernie ( no picture ) we had a nice time catching up!
Then, we were off to hang out with another Jr. high friend, Michelle and her boys
Jariah and Elias , above. We enjoyed a wonderful visit on their back deck, while Jariah played in the sprinkler !! It was so great to catch a few friends for extended visits : )

Next, we headed to Kirkland where Lara and I enjoyed dinner, Lakefront in Kirkland.
Then we headed to Snoqualmie falls for a quick peak. The falls are amazing !!

Lara and I at the falls

The next day was spent with my dear friend Lisa and her family. I spent many days with them when I lived in Seattle, with adventures including the ER, target and relaxing on the couch with kids running around.

Her Brayden and Sophie made pictures for me, which as promised are hanging on my fridge here in VA.

We picked Tyler up from school and headed to DQ for a blizzard treat ! Tyler remembers that I was the one who went with him to the ER for stitches. He forgets all the times I held him as a baby, but I remember well.

Thursday morning I enjoyed a coffee date with friend and roommate Roslyn : ) It was great to chat and catch up. She was off to another appointment before I remembered a picture.

I was very excited to meet little Luke, my friend Crystal's son from BlueSky. We had a nice visit over lunch!

I spent Friday relaxing and laying low with Melanie and Tyler. We enjoyed the park, Safeway and one last Tullys ; )

Saturday I headed home to Thomas! We were both happy I was back in Virginia.
Thanks to all of you who helped make this trip a time I will cherish always!
I wish I could have spent more time with you all! I missed those I didn't get a chance to see.
