Week 26 Belly shot

Things are going well : ) The Dr continues to be happy with my progress. He gave me clearance to fly to Seattle today. I'm very excited to come!!

I hope to get a chance to see you while I'm there. I can't wait to see REAL Mountians and the lakes. I miss them both more than I thought possible.

Memorial Day weekend

We spent Saturday of the long weekend with our good friends Chris and Kelly in Annapolis MD.

Along with the Naval Academy, there is a quaint little shopping town right on the water. We took a boat cruise to explore the area. It was so good to be on the water, and enjoy hanging out with friends. Kelly and Chris are expecting their 1st son, Garret early in July. We were tried from a long but fun day

Nursery coming together !

We have been blessed to receive our crib and glider as gifts from family in the last few weeks !!

It is so nice to have them both up and ready to go. We decided to place the glider in front of the window, so I can look out while feeding Lydia.

We are so excited to have these things in place. Thank you for your generous gifts.

Thomas knows this is just the beginning of building items for our children.

Christmas eve until 2am... here we come !

We also received a video monitor so we can see Lydia without going into her room. I think the next thing to go up is a shelf to place in on in the corner, so it's close enough to be useful ; )

Friends

We are blessed to have wonderful friends here in Northern Virginia! Thomas has been friends with all of these guys since college. A few months ago, we met Ron and Liza ( pictures on blog ) at a lunch Lili and Paulito hosted. Last weekend we got to meet Romel and Beth at a baby shower for Liza and Ron! The guys had a great visit and laughed a lot.

23 weeks

The last few weeks have been busy ones. I had a wonderful time hosting a baby shower for our dear friends Chris and Kelly Monday. Their Garrett is due 6 weeks before Lydia! It's been a fun journey together. We will look forward to fall, with sleeping babies and football! We watched together often over the last two years.

At 23 weeks, I'm more tired than I realized I would be. My nap schedule has gone down to about 1 to 2 a week, which still feels like a lot! My health is good, which are are very thankful for. We did have a short bout of heat ( 95 degrees ) a few weeks back. Just a taste of how much time I will be spending in the AC this summer! Make sure to bring a sweater if you plan to visit.
