Some of you may have heard the rumors..... they are true !! Thomas and I will be expecting a baby on August 26,2009. We found out the same week our Christmas letter went out !
We had our 11 week checkup with the Dr today, and things are going well. We were able to hear the heart beat. What an amazing miracle !! Week 8, we were able to see the baby at our sonogram! We enjoyed seeing the baby, which made everything more real.
Things have gone very smoothly in the 1st trimester, with the exception of exhaustion and a being little nauseous. I'm glad to get it out of the way!! I'm dreading the HOT Virginia summer, but remind myself we have air conditioning in our house! If you come to visit, you might want to remember a sweater though. Poor Thomas
I have the best of intentions to update this blog as things progress, and can't wait to share the news of the birth of our baby. Remember to vote if you think we will have a boy or a girl! We will know in early April.

Lindsey, all your years of being a nanny and caring for all of our babies. I am so so so so so happy for you and Thomas! PTL! He is so faithful! I prayed over your Christmas letter request. How amazing that you found out so close to writing/mailing it out! Keep me posted, okay? I LOVE the ultrasound picture... much better quality than when I was pregnant with Candy in 1990!
